Admissions Process
Thank you for considering Salem Lutheran School for the education of your child. Below is a description of the enrollment process. If you have any questions, please contact us by calling the office at (314) 741-8220.
New Student Admissions Process
Your spot at Salem Lutheran School will not be secure until all steps have been completed.
If you applied for financial aid, you will be notified approximately the second week of June.

New Student Admissions Process
STEP ONE
Fill out the Application for Admission Form
- Return it to Salem School along with the $300 per child application fee and a copy of shot records to the school office.
- Make Checks payable to Salem Lutheran School.
- Please fill out and send the Release of Information Form and the Cumulative Record Release Form to your child’s current school.
STEP TWO
- All families will be assessed $50 by FACTS.
- Choose Create a Username and Password or Sign In if you are an existing FACTS user.
- Select Set up a Payment Plan.
- Select the appropriate school year.
- Complete the steps as prompted.
STEP THREE – Financial Aid (If Necessary)
- All families will be assessed $35 by FACTS.
- Select Sign In
- Complete the steps as prompted.
- After submitting your application online, mail or fax your income documentation (as listed on the final page of the application) to FACTS using the address or fax number shown.
- Applications will be reviewed and funding determinations will be made by Salem Lutheran School and LESA Awards Committee.
- Deadline: All materials must be submitted online to FACTS by April 1. Applications received after this date will be considered only if funds are available.
- If you don’t want to do any LESA volunteer hours, check No for that section. This will not affect your aid.
STEP FOUR
Testing Date
- All new students will be tested to see where they are at academically. You will be notified of your testing date once your application is turned in.

Returning Student Re-Enrollment Process
Re-Enrollment paperwork is done online
Your spot at Salem Lutheran School will not be secure until all steps have been completed above and you are in good standing.
You will be notified about your financial aid package approximately the second week of June.

Returning Student Admissions Process
STEP ONE
- Return it to Salem School along with the $300 per child ($175 if returned by March 1st) application fee to the school office. $300 after June 1st.
- Make checks payable to Salem Lutheran School or you can use your credit card in the office.
STEP TWO
- Click on the option to re-enroll for the 2025 – 2026 school year for each child.
- Click on Display Parent Data to update your personal information.
STEP THREE
- All families will be assessed $50 by FACTS.
- Choose Create a Username and Password or Sign In if you are an existing FACTS user.
