Adult Bible Study
Bible Study is our chance as Christians to study God’s word and grow closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They also prepare us for living, dying, and witnessing. Salem offers the following opportunities to to study God Word and grow in knowledge and understand of God’s message of salvation for us in Jesus Christ:
- Sunday morning – Meets at 8:45AM, currently studying the Beatitudes. Led by Pastor Dressler, and open to all adults.
- Friday Morning – Meets at 10:30AM, currently studying the book of Joshua. Led by Rev. Thur, and open to all adults.
- Young Men’s Study – meets in the fall and spring, times TBA. Led by Pastor Dressler.
Children and Youth
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14. Salem is strongly dedicated to children’s Christian education, whether in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, or our parochial school.
Our goal is that children grow in their knowledge of Scripture so that they will grow into adults who are capable of understanding the Bible for themselves. We have dedicated teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching the Word of God to children.
During Sunday School, the children are taught about Jesus Christ, their loving Savior, Lord, and Friend. Our classes provide children with the opportunity to hear Bible Stories, sing songs, make new friends, and hear of God’s love for them in Jesus Christ in an age-appropriate setting.
Sunday School meets year-round at 8:45 AM, and is open to all children ages 3 through grade 8.
